Presetting Radio
Stations
You can store radio frequencies in the
tuner’s memory to tune in your favorite
stations quickly. You can preset up to 20
FM stations, 10AM (MW) stations and 10
SW stations in any order. (20 FM stations
and 10 AM stations for U.S.A. and Canada)
Use the buttons on the unit to do this
operation.
POWER-+ON
1 Make sure that the PRESET lamp is not
on. If the PRESET lamp is on, press
PRESET/TUNING to turn it off.
2 Press TUNER/TIMER (+/-) to tune in
the station you want to store.
3 Press MEMORY /NEXT.
“MEMORY” and the preset station
numbers appear in the display.

4 Decide ona preset number for the radio
station (1 to 20 for FM, 1 to 10 for MW
and SW). While “MEMORY” is lit (for
about eight seconds), press TUNER/
TIMER (+/-) to display window the
preset number you have decided on.
5 press MEMORY /NEXT.
“MEMORY” disappears, and the station
is stored at the preset number you have
decided on.
6 Repeat steps 2 to 5 for each station you
want to store.
To erase a stored station
Store a new station at a previously used
preset station number. It will erase the old
station and replace it with the new station.
if you have trouble storing a station
Make sure “MEMORY? is lit in the display.
If not, press MEMORY /NEXT again so that
“MEMORY” lights up (for about eight
seconds) in the display, and then proceed
with steps 4 and 5.

Press MEMORY/NEXT again and then
proceed with steps 4 and 5.

Playing Preset Radio
Stations
Once you have preset the stations, use the
TUNER/TIMER (+/-) buttons to quickly
tune in your favorite stations.

1 Press TUNER/BAND repeatedly to
select the desired band.

2 Press PRESET/TUNING so that PRESET
lamp lights up.
3 Press TUNER/TIMER (+/-) to tune ina
preset station.
The station frequency appears and the
station begins broadcasting.
