Attaching components
Stability criteria
The rules governing the fitting of stabilising components must be
complied with to guarantee stability within a field. Stabilising
components include:
• Shelves (shelf, open shelf with border, shelf tray)
• Frame
• BOXX frames
The configuration of your van racking system determines
whether stabilising components are needed, and, if so, which
ones. The following elements are critical:
• Drawer
• MultiSlide
• SR drawer
• Case rail
Rule: This applies to the following rules: Each field must be taken into
account separately.
Rule A: If more than two of the above critical elements are fitted, then
a minimum of
∘ two shelves or
∘ one shelf and one frame or
∘ one shelf and one BOXX frame or
∘ one frame and one BOXX frame
must be fitted. Rear wall profiles also need to be fitted, thereby
taking into account the permissible installation options for the
rear wall profiles.
Rule B: Each of the critical elements listed above has a specific grid
height. If several of these elements are fitted and the total grid
height of these elements is equal to, or more than, 60, then
∘ two frames and one shelf or
∘ two frames and one BOXX frame
must be fitted. Rear wall profiles also need to be fitted, thereby
taking into account the permissible installation options for the
rear wall profiles.
Rule C: If up to a maximum of two of the above critical elements are
fitted, then a minimum of
∘ two shelves or
∘ one shelf and one frame or
∘ one shelf and one BOXX frame or
∘ one frame and one BOXX frame
must be fitted. In this case, no rear wall profiles are needed from
a strength point of view, providing that the shelf or BOXX frame
can be connected directly to the wall of the vehicle.
