When you have reduced throttle
speed to a minimum, it will take a few
seconds for the cutting means to stop.
The engine may be very hot immediately
after it is shut down. Do not touch. The
engine can cause burn injuries.

7. ROUTINE MAINTENANCE
7.1 GENERAL
IMPORTANT The safety regulations to
follow during machine use are described
in Chapter 2. Strictly comply with these
instructions to avoid serious risks or hazards.
Before performing any
maintenance operations:
Stop the machine;
Remove the spark plug cap (Fig. 9.F);
when the cutting means is stationary,
apply the blade protection device, (except
when working directly on the blade);
allow the engine to cool before
storing in an enclosed space;
use suitable clothing, protective
gloves and goggles;
read the relevant instructions.









IMPORTANT Any maintenance and
adjustment operations not described in
this manual must be carried out by your
dealer or Authorised Service Centre.
7.2 PREPARING THE FUEL MIXTURE


IMPORTANT Using petrol alone will damage
the engine and will void the warranty.
IMPORTANT Only use quality fuels and oils
to maintain high performance and guarantee
the duration of the mechanical parts over time.
7.2.1 Petrol characteristics

octane rating of at least 90.
IMPORTANT Unleaded petrol tends to
create deposits in the container if stored for
more than 2 months. Always use fresh petrol!
7.2.2 Oil characteristics
