To start the engine, place

chain
saw
on the ground,

sure you have a finn foothold and

saw chain is
clear
of
all obstacles and
the
ground. Bystanders must
be
kepI well clear

work
area

saw.
Starting
procedure
1.
Move
stop switch

away

STOP".
2.
If
the engine is cold, move choke lever (2) to
"Choke
".
If
the
engine
is
wann
or
has only
been
stopped for a
brief
period, move choke
lever
(2)
away
from"
Choke".
3.
Set
throttle trigger (3)
