MSE 200 C
Model MSE 200 C is equipped with an
electronic overload circuit breaker which
measures motor temperature and
current drawn.
: The LED indicator (1) comes on in
case of overload and the power
supply is interrupted. The indicator
goes off after about 2 seconds and
the saw is ready for operation.
: Run your saw for about 15 seconds
off-load. This helps cool the motor
windings.
Note that the overload indicator glows
only as long as the trigger switch is
activated.
During operation
: Check level in chain oil tank.
: Fill up with fresh chain oil when the
level reaches the "min" mark - see
"Filling Chain Oil Tank".
: Start cutting with the saw chain
running.
: Always cut with a properly
sharpened chain and apply only
moderate feed pressure. The
sound and running behavior of the
saw must remain constant. The
motor speed may only drop a little in
the cut – the chain must not jerk
or stop.
: If motor noise drops suddenly or the
chain stops, reduce feed pressure
immediately to avoid overheating
and possible damage to the saw.
When saw is cold
: See “Checking Chain Tension”.
Chain at operating temperature:
The chain stretches and begins to sag.
The drive links must not come out of the
bar groove – the chain may otherwise
jump off the bar.
: Retension the chain –
see “Tensioning the Saw Chain”.
After finishing work
: Disconnect plug from power supply.
: Always slacken off the chain again
after finishing work.
The chain contracts as it cools
down. If it is not slackened off, it
may damage the drive shaft and
bearings.
