Clean plastic parts with a
cloth. Harsh detergents can
damage the plastic.
Clean ventilation slots in
motor housing as needed.
The machine must be
serviced regularly. Do not
attempt any maintenance or
repair work not described in
the Instruction Manual. All
other work should be carried
out by a servicing dealer.
STIHL recommends the use
of genuine STIHL spare parts.
Such parts have been
optimized for the machine and
the user's requirements.
STIHL recommends that
maintenance and repair work
be carried out only by
authorized STIHL dealers.
STIHL dealers receive regular
training and are supplied with
technical information.
The following accessory parts must be
fitted before using the machine for the
first time.
Handle frame
N Press the handle frame (1) onto the
holders (2) from above – handle
frame must snap into position
Holder for high-pressure hose
N Position the holder (3) for the high-
pressure hose between the sides of
the handle frame
N Press the plugs (4) through the
handle frame into the mounts of the
holder – the plugs must snap into
place and be inserted flush in the
handle frame
