Transporting lithium-ion batteries:
RM 545.0 VE: The lithium-ion batteries
used meet the requirements specified in
UN manual ST/SG/AC.10/11/Rev. 5
Part III, subsection 38.3.
The user may carry these batteries to the
place of use of the machine without further
restrictions during road transport.
Country-specific legislation must be
observed in the case of air or sea
transport.

18.1 REACH
REACH is an EC Directive for the
registration, evaluation, authorisation and
restriction of chemicals.

REACH Directive (EC) No. 1907/2006 is

Fault:
Engine not starting
Possible cause:
Motorstop lever not pressed.
RM 545 VE: Battery discharged or
defective.
No fuel in tank; fuel line blocked.
Inferior, dirty or old fuel in tank.
–Air filter dirty.
Spark plug socket detached from spark
plug; ignition lead not properly fastened
to socket.
Spark plug dirty or damaged; incorrect
electrode gap.
Lawn mower housing blocked.
Remedy:
Press motorstop lever to handlebar and
hold. (Ö 9.2)
RM 545 VE: Charge or replace battery.
(Ö 8.6)
Top up fuel; clean fuel line. #
Always use fresh, good quality fuel,
unleaded petrol; clean carburettor. #
Clean air filter. #
Connect spark plug socket; check
connection between ignition lead and
socket. #
Clean or replace spark plug; adjust
electrode gap. #
Clean lawn mower housing (disconnect
spark plug socket first) and additionally
remove battery on RM 545 VE.

Fault:
Starting problems or deteriorating engine
power.
Possible cause:
Lawn mower housing blocked.
Mowing at an excessively low cutting
height or propulsion speed is too high in
relation to the cutting height.
Water in fuel tank and carburettor;
carburettor blocked.
Fuel tank contaminated.
Air filter dirty.
Spark plug dirty.
Remedy:
Clean lawn mower housing (disconnect
spark plug socket first) and additionally
remove battery on
RM 545 VE.(Ö 12.2)
Select higher cutting height or reduce
pushing speed. (Ö 8.5)
Empty fuel tank, clean fuel line and
carburettor. #
Clean fuel tank. #
Clean air filter. #
Clean spark plug. #
Fault:
Mowing channel blocked
Possible cause:
Mowing blade is worn.
