: Pry off and replace the
grommet (1).
Reassemble in the reverse
sequence.
: Fit the fuel hose (1) with pickup
body through the bore (arrow) in
the fuel tank.

Coat the connector with STIHL
press fluid, b 13
: Line up the connector (1) and
push it into the bore until the tab
engages the recess (arrow) and
locates against the housing.
Always install new fuel hoses.
Take care not to damage the new
fuel hoses.
Connect the new fuel hoses to
the nipples on the
connector (1) and install the
carburetor, b 9.5
Reassemble all other parts in the
reverse sequence.
–Check for leaks.

9.12 Fuel Tank
Drain the fuel tank, b 1.1
Remove the shroud, b 4.4
If the fuel hoses and connector are
in order – pry out the connector with
the fuel hoses attached.
: Take out the screws (1).
Remove the fuel tank (2).
: Pry out the connector (1).
Remove the connector (1) with
fuel hoses.
