5. i Opens the current channel information; 2x opens the current event information
and 3x the signal information
6. VOL+/VOL- Increases/decreases the volume level
7. MENU Opens the main menu, in a menu you will get one step back
8. EXIT Exits from the menu or sub-menu
9. pq Menu Off: Change channel to next/previous.
Menu On: Moves the cursor up/down.
10. tu Menu Off: Decreases/ increases the volume level.
Menu On: Change settings for specific menus
11. OK Menu Off: Displays the current channel list
Menu On: Activates the highlighted menu item.
12. RECORD Records the TV programme to the connected USB storage device*
13. TIMESHIFT Activates the Timeshift function (Off/On)*
14. 0~9 Enters a channel number in viewing mode or a value inside the respective menu
15. EPG Opens the EPG (Electronic Programme Guide) in TV mode

2.5 Installing the batteries

Open the cover on the remote control and insert 2x AAA batteries into the compartment. Correct position of the polar
diagram shows the batteries inside the compartment.
1. Open the cover.
2. Insert the batteries.
3. Close the lid.
WARNING: The batteries should not be recharged, disassembled, electrically short-circuited, be mixed or
used with other types of batteries.
