REAR WHEEL REMOVAL
1. Place the motorcycle on the
side stand.
2. Remove the axle nut 1.
3. Place an accessory service
stand or equivalent under the
swingarm to lift the rear wheel
slightly off the ground.
4. Loosen the right and left chain
adjusting bolts 2.
5. Remove the rear wheel speed
sensor by removing the
mounting bolt.
6. Draw out the axle shaft.
7. With the wheel moved forward,
remove the chain from the
sprocket.
8. Pull the rear wheel assembly
rearward.
WARNING
A hot muffler can burn you. The
muffler will be hot enough to
burn you for some time after
stopping the engine.
Wait until the muffler cools to
avoid burns.
