Airtoandfromtheunitisledthroughaductsystem.Toensurelonglifeandsatisfactorycleaning
possibilities,ductsmadeofgalvanisedsteelarehighlyrecommended.
Toobtainlowenergyconsumptionandrequiredairow,theductsystemshouldbecommissionedforlow
airspeedsandalowpressuredrops.
Note:
Ductconnections/ductendsshouldbecoveredduringstorageandinstallation
Grillesforintake/roofunitsmustbeinstalledaccordingtobuildingregulationsinforce.
5.4.1Ductconnections
Assembletheunitinthedirectionofairow.
SecurealljointsbetweenductingandtheTAunitaccuratelyusingaminimumof4rivetsperjoint(circular
ducts)and4M8boltsperjoint(rectangularducts).Rectangularductsrequiressealingstripsorsealing
compoundtoensuretheairtightness.
Caution
Toavoidfannoisebeingtransferredviatheductingsystem,mufersshouldbeinstalledonsupplyair.
Note:
Iftheunitisinstalledinacoldplacemakesurethatalljointsarecoveredwithinsulation,andtapewell.
