4. Device. Use th e U SB 2.0 High speed
device port to control the oscilloscope
through USBTMC or GPIB with a
TEK-USB-488 Adapter. The USBTMC
protocol allows USB devices to
communicate using IEEE488 style
messages. Th is lets you run your GPIB
software applications on USB hardware.
Also, use the USB port to connect a
PictBridge-compatible printer to the
oscilloscope.
5. Host. Use the USB 2.0 Full speed host
ports (two on the rear-panel and one on
the front) to take ad va ntage of USB flash
drives and printers.
6. Power input. Attach t o an AC power line
with integral safety ground. (See page 8,
Operating Consideratio ns .)
7. Connector for future use.
