Slide the belt over the motor shaft pulley (Fig. 22).

When tightening the bolt, the bolt head and the
washers must be flush against the small pulley

Torque
the bolt to 25 to 30 in-lb.
Do not overtighten the bolt.

Storage
1.
Run the snowthrower for a few minutes to melt away
any snow on the snowthrower
.
2.
Disconnect the extension cord from the snowthrower
.
3.
Examine the extension cord thoroughly for signs of
wear or damage. Replace it if it is worn or damaged.
4.
Examine the snowthrower thoroughly for worn, loose,
or damaged parts. For repairing or replacing parts,
contact your local Authorized Service Dealer for
assistance.
5.
Store the extension cord with the snowthrower
.
6.
Store the snowthrower in a clean, dry place. Cover it
to provide protection.
