CheckingtheHydraulicLines
ServiceInterval:Every25hours
Every1,500hours
Afterevery25operatinghours,checkthehydraulic
linesandhosesforleaks,loosettings,kinkedlines,
loosemountingsupports,wear,weather,andchemical
deterioration.Replaceallmovinghydraulichosesevery
1500hoursor2years,whichevercomesrst.Make
necessaryrepairsbeforeoperating.
WARNING
Hydraulicuidescapingunderpressurecan
penetrateskinandcauseinjury.Fluidinjectedinto
theskinmustbesurgicallyremovedwithinafew
hoursbyadoctorfamiliarwiththisformofinjury
organgrenemayresult.
Keepyourbodyandhandsawayfrompin
holeleaksornozzlesthatejecthighpressure
hydraulicuid.
Usecardboardorpapertondhydraulicleaks,
neveruseyourhands.
Storage
1.Lowertheloaderarms,stoptheengine,andremove
thekey.
2.Removedirtandgrimefromtheexternalpartsof
theentiretractionunit,especiallytheengine.Clean
dirtandchafffromtheradiator.
Important:Youcanwashthetractionunit
withmilddetergentandwater.Donotpressure
washthetractionunit.Avoidexcessiveuseof
water,especiallynearthecontrolpanel,engine,
hydraulicpumps,andmotors.
3.Servicetheaircleaner;refertoServicingtheAir
Cleaner.
4.Greasethetractionunit;refertoGreasingthe
TractionUnit.
5.Drainwaterfromthefuellter;refertoDraining
WaterfromtheFuelFilter.
6.Torquethewheellugnutsto50ft-lb(68Nm).
7.Checkthehydraulicuidlevel;refertoCheckingthe
HydraulicFluidLevel.
8.Checkthetirepressure;refertoCheckingtheTire
Pressure.
9.Chargethebattery;refertotheServicingtheBattery.
10.Flushthefueltankwithfresh,cleandieselfuel.
11.Checkandtightenallbolts,nuts,andscrews.Repair
orreplaceanypartthatisdamagedordefective.
12.Paintallscratchedorbaremetalsurfaces.Paintis
availablefromyourAuthorizedServiceDealer.
13.Checkantifreezeprotectionandlltheradiatorwith
a50/50solutionofwaterandpermanentethylene
glycolantifreeze.RefertoyourEngineOwnersManual
orAuthorizedServiceDealerfordetailsonchecking
andmaintainingthecoolingsystem.
14.Storethetractionunitinaclean,drygarageor
storagearea.Removethekeyfromtheignition
switchandkeepitinamemorableplace.
15.Coverthetractionunittoprotectitandkeepitclean.
Important:Whenremovingthetractionunitfrom
storage,chargethebattery;refertoServicingthe
Battery.
