Theheight-of-cutleverallowsyoutolowerandraisethedeck
fromtheseatedposition.Whenyouraisethelever(toward
you),thedeckisraisedfromtheground,andwhenyoulower
it(awayfromyou),itlowerstotheground.Adjusttheheight
ofcutonlywhilethemachineisnotmoving(Figure15).

Thisswitchallowsyoutomowinreversewhenitisactivated.
Toactivateit,turntheswitchtotheONpositionandrelease
itafterthePTOisengaged.Todeactivateit,disengagethe
PTO(Figure6).
Operating-in-ReverseWarningLight
Theoperating-in-reversewarninglightilluminates
wheneveryouusetheKeyChoicekeytodeactivatethe
operating-in-reverseinterlock.Itisareminderthatthe
interlocksystemisdeactivated.Thelightgoesoutwhenever
youdisengagethePTOorshutofftheengine.Whenthelight
ison,lookbehindyouanduseextracautionwhenbackingup.

Theparkingbrakeisactivatedelectronically.
Engagetheparkingbrakeby1ofthefollowingactions:
•PresstheSmartPark
™
switchtotheONposition(Figure
5).
•Theparkingbrakeengagesautomaticallywhenthe
operatorleavestheseatandthetraction-controlpedalis
inNEUTRALposition.
•Theparkingbrakeautomaticallyengages5to6seconds
aftertheignitionswitchisturnedtotheOFFposition(if
notalreadyengaged).
Todisengagetheparkingbrake,presstheSmartparkswitch
totheOFFpositionwiththekeyintheRUNposition.

Thehourmeterrecordsthenumberofhourswhenthe
operatorisintheseatandtheignitionswitchisintheON
position(Figure7).
