Getting Started
This chapter provides an equipment checklist, and it identifies the
computer’s features, options and accessories.
Equipment checklist
Carefully unpack your computer, taking care to save the box and packaging
materials for future use.
Hardware
Check to make sure you have all the following items:
■ Qosmio F60 Series Portable Personal Computer
■ AC adaptor and power cord (2-pin plug or 3-pin plug)
■ Battery pack (Is pre-installed in some computer)
■ Remote controller (Is included with some models)
■ Two AA manganese batteries (for remote controller)
■ Cleaning cloth (Is included with some models)
Documentation
■ Qosmio F60 Series Portable Personal Computer User’s Manual
■ Qosmio F60 Series Quickstart
■ Instruction Manual for Safety and Comfort (included in User’s Manual)
■ Warranty information
If any of the items are missing or damaged, contact your dealer
immediately.
Some of the features described in this manual may not function properly if
you use an operating system that was not pre-installed by TOSHIBA.
■ Use the cleaning cloth to wipe away dust, fingerprints and similar from
the keyboard, palm rest and other parts. For precautions on use refer to
the Using the cleaning cloth section in Chapter 4, Operating Basics.
