HOLDER
ASSEMBLY
(a)
lnstall the
four flyweights,
flyweight
washer and
governor
sleeve
on
the
flyweight
holder.
HINT:
Replace the
four
flyweights
as a set.
(b)
lnstall a
new
O-ring
to the
governor
shaft.
(c)
Put the
flyweight
holder subassembly,
flyweight
washer and
adjusting
washer
into the
pump
housing'
(d)
lnstall
the
governor
shaft
through
the adjusting
washer,
flyweight
washer
and
flyweight
holder sub-
assembly.
(e)
Turn the
governor
shaft
counterclockwise
with an
allen
wrench.
HINT:
The
governor
shaft
has LH threads.

FLYWEIGHT
HOLDER
THRUST
CLEARANCE
Using
a
feeler
gauge,
measure
the
flyweight
holder
thrust
clearance.
Thrust clearance:
