6. SEPARATE
OIL COOLER

OIL COOLER
CASE
Remove
the
four nuts,
oil cooler,
two
O-rings
and
gaskets.
INSPECTION
OF
OIL COOLER
AND RELIEF
VALVE
1. INSPECT
RELIEF VALVE
Coat
the
valve with
engine
oil and check
that
it
falls
smoothly into
the valve hole
by
its
own weight.
lf is not, replace
the relief valve.
lf
necessary,
replace
the
oil filter bracket.
2. INSPECT
OIL COOLER
Check the
oil cooler
for
damage
or clogging.
