ammeter
to
the
charging
circuit
as
follows:

Disconnect
the
wire
from
terminal
B
of
the
alter_
nator
and
connect
it
to
the
negative (_)probe
of
the
ammeter.

connect
the
test
probe
from
the
positive
(+)
terminal
of
the
ammeter
to
terminai
g
of
tne
alternator.
.
Connect
the
positive
(+)
probe
of
the
voltmeter
to
terminal
B
of the
alternator.
.
Ground
the
negative
(J
probe
of
the
voltmeter.

Check
the
charging
circuit
as
follows:
With
the
engine
running
from
idle
to 2,OOO
rpm,
check
the
reading
on
the
ammeter
and
voltmeter.
Standard
amperage:

Standard
