front side of
the top of bolt
with
paint.

Tighten
the eighteen head bolts 9Oo
in the
numerical
order shown.
(e)
Then
tighten
the bolts by an additional 90o.
(f)
Check that the
paint
mark is
now facing rearward.
3. INSTALL
PUSH RODS
lnstall
the
eight
push
rods.
4.
INSTALL
VALVE ROCKER SHAFT
ASSEMBLY
(a)
lnstall the valve stem caps.
(b)
Place the rocker shaft assembly on
the cylinder
head.
(c)
Align the
rocker
arm adjusting
screws
with
the
heads
of the
push
rods.
(d)
lnstall
and
uniformly tighten the
ten bolts
in
several
passes,
in
the
sequence shown.
Torque: 250 kg-cm
(18
ft-lb,
25 N'm)
