H. Detach spray gun and nozzHe extension from high
pressure hose. Detach nozzHe extension from spray gun
and remove o:ring and screen from nozzHe extension.
Hush screen_ spray gun_ and nozzHe extension with
dean water to dear debris.
2. PHace inoHine fiHter screen into threaded end of nozzHe
extension. Direction does not matter. Push screen in
with eraser end of pencil until it rests fiat at bottom of
opening.TaH<e care to not bend screen.
3. PHace o:ring into recess. Push o:ring snugly against
inoHine filter screen.
4. AssembHe nozzHe extension to spray gun_ as described
earHier in this manuak
NozTle Maintenance
A pulsing sensation felt while squeezing the spray gun
trigger may be caused by excessive pump pressure.The
principaH cause of excessive pump pressure is a spray tip
cHoKed or restricted with foreign materiaHs_such as dirt,
etc.To correct the probHem_immediately dean the spray tip
following these instructions:
H. Shut off engine and turn off water supply.
2. Remove spray tip from end of nozzHe extension.
3. Remove in°Hinefilter from other end of nozzHeextension.
4. Use a smaHHpaper chip to free any foreign materiaH
cHoKing or restricting spray tip (Figure H5).
5. Using a garden hose, remove additionaH debris by bacH<
flushing water through nozzHe extension (Figure H6).
BacH<flush between 30 to 60 seconds.

Purchase an O-Ring/Maintenance KiL part number
H9H922GS by contacting the nearest authorized service
center. It is not incHuded with the pressure washer.This kit
incHudes repHacement o-rings_ rubber washer and water
inHet fiHten Refer to the instruction sheet provided in the kit
to service your unit's o-rings.
WARNING
NEVER repair leaking connections with sealant of an), kin&
Replace o-ring or seal
Pump Maintenance
This modeH does not require any pump maintenance.The
pump is preoHubricated and seaHed, requiring no additionaH
Hubrication for the life of the pump.
ENGINE MAmNTENANCE
See the engine operator's manuaH for instructions on how
to properHy maintain the engine.
CAUTION
Used motor oil has been shown to cause skin cancer in
certain laboratory animals.
Thoroughly wash exposed areas with soap and water:
KEEP OUT OF REACH OF CHILDREN. DON'T
POLLUTE. CONSERVE RESOURCES. RETURN
USED OILTO COLLECTION CENTERS.
6. Reinstall spray tip and inoHinefilter into nozzle extension.
7. Reconnect nozzle extension to spray gun.
8. Reconnect water supply, turn on water, and start engine.
9. Test pressure washer by operating with each quick
connect spray tip.
