Belt Replacement
Auger Belt
To remove and replace your snow thrower’s auger belt, proceed
as follows:
Run the engine until it is out of fuel. Do not attempt to 
pour fuel from the engine.
Remove the plastic belt cover on the front of the engine by 2.

Roll the auger belt off the engine pulley. See Fig. 8-2.3.
Carefully pivot the snow thrower up and forward so that it 
rests on the auger housing.
Remove the frame cover from the underside of the snow 5.
thrower by removing four self-tapping screws which secure
it. See Fig 8-3.

Loosen and remove the shoulder screw which acts a.
as a belt keeper.
Unhook the support bracket spring from the frame.b.
