8. Important safety information
Please read the relevant safety information and
limitations-of-use information on the following
pages before using your hearing aid.
Intended use
The intended use of hearing aids is to amplify
and transmit sound to the ears and thereby
compensate for impaired hearing.
The charger is an accessory to a medical device
and has no therapeutic or diagnostic use on
its own. It is intended to charge rechargeable
hearing aids.
The Tinnitus feature is intended for use
by people with tinnitus who also desire
amplication. It provides supplementary
noise stimulation which can help defocus the
user's attention from their tinnitus.
Indications
General clinical indications for the use of hearing
aids and Tinnitus feature are:
Cause Possible remedy
Issue: charging does not start
Charger is not connected
to a power supply
Connect the charger to a
power supply
Hearing aids are not
inserted correctly into
the charger
Insert hearing aids correctly
into the charger, see
“Charging your hearing aids”
Hearing aids do not light
up in the charger
Unplug the charger with the
hearing aids inserted, and
plug the charger back in
again
Charge contacts are not
clean
Clean charging contacts
using cleaning brush or cloth

hearing care professional.
