Looking After Your Machine
Brush removal and replacement
WARNING: Do not open the motor cover.
To remove the belt cover,
use a phillips screwdriver
to remove the two screws.
Lift out the oating
brush bar.
Replace oating brushbar. Repalce the brush access
cover by inserting the end
furthest from the brush rst.
Then replace the front end
before securing in place
with the two screws.
Cleaning the lter
Rinse the lter with warm
water. Allow it to dry fully
before replacing it in
your cleaner.
IMPORTANT: Cleaning lters maintains cleaning performance. For best cleaning results lters require cleaning at least every
three months. If your lters are washable make sure that they are completely dry before inserting them back into the cleaner.
IMPORTANT: The motor is equipped with a thermal cut-out. If for any reason the unit should overheat, the thermostat
will automatically turn the unit o. Should this occur, unplug the carpet washer from the electrical outlet and turn o the switch.
Check the hose for blockages. Clean the lters. Allow the unit to cool for approximately one hour (if you have cleaned the lters
you will need to wait twenty four hours for the lters to dry before putting them back in the machine.) To re-start the machine,
plug it into an electrical outlet and switch it back on.
WARNING: Always switch o and unplug the carpet washer from the electrical outlet before assembling,
lling and emptying the clean water tank, emptying the dirty water tank, or before connecting/disconnecting
the attachments.
