Presentation
Volvo Penta’s new D3-110, D3-130 and D3-160 are developed from the latest design in modern diesel technology.
The engine has common rail injection system, double overhead camshafts, 4 valves per cylinder, VGT (Variable
Geometry Turbocharger) and aftercooler. Together with a large swept volume and the EVC system (Electronic
Vessel Control), this results in world-class diesel performance, combined with low emissions. The D3/SX is
suitable for both single and twin-engine installations in speeds between 25 and 45 knots.
