IQ6 Black or Dark Image RAP
The printed image is totally dark or black, Figure 1.
Procedure
WARNING
Do not perform repair activities with the power on or electrical power supplied to the
machine. Some machine components contain dangerous electrical voltages that can
result in electrical shock and possible serious injury.

• Switch off the power.
• Clean the contacts on the Toner Cartridge, Drum Cartridge, and HVPS PWB.
• Switch on the power and make a test print.
The problem continues.

• The Charge Roller is likely defective. Install a new Toner Cartridge, refer to the Xerox®
B215/
B205 User Guide for detailed instructions on how to Install a new Toner Cartridge.
• If the image is Black, Install a new HVPS PWB, PL 4.
