Document Settings Overview
Click on the Document Settings tab to see the options described in this section.
When you click on the Help button with this tab in view, the HTML file will open showing the instructions for the
options specific to this tab.
AutoCrop to original—automatically detects the size of each page. Useful when scanning mixed sized originals or
when switching between page sizes.
Note: this feature only works when the scanner is set to black background.
Skew detection—automatically detects if the documents feed skewed. You can either select Detect and stop,
which will stop the scan, allow you to fix the documents and try again, or Detect and correct, which will
automatically straighten the documents (a.k.a. auto-deskew or auto-straighten).
Double Feed Detection—will detect if more than on page feeds through the scanner at one time.
Note: if you are scanning pages that are taped together or pages with post-it notes, double feed detection must be
disabled.
