8. Remove the washer, special nut and spring guide and replace the spring.
NOTICE
Be very careful to apply downward pressure on the rod (SPECIAL TOOLS) when you
remove the spanner (
SPECIAL TOOLS).
9. Press the rod downwards before adjusting the oil level.
Oil level in Shipping state: With the spring removed and the outer tube and rod lowered,
160mm from the top of the outer tube.
10. Reassemble the parts after oil level adjustment by following the disassembly procedure in
reverse.

Tightening torque: 20N/m
