For Macintosh
1. Disconnect all USB devices from the computer except for the mouse and com-
puter keyboard.
2. Start the computer and use the “Administrator” account to log on Windows.
Close all applications and windows that are open.
3. Delete the following files.
• “User” → “Your user folder” → “Library” → “Preferences” → “jp.co.yamaha.USB-
MIDIDriver.plist” (This file is created after the driver is loaded.)
• “Library”
→ “Audio” → “MIDI Driver” → “YAMAHAUSBMIDIDriver.plugin”
• “Library”
→ “Preference Panes” → “YAMAHAUSBMIDIPatch.prefPane”
• “Library”
→ “Receipts” → “YAMAHA-USBMIDIDriver.pkg”
• “Library”
→ “Receipts” → “YAMAHA-USBMIDIPatch.pkg”
4. Restart the computer.
