barg(150psig),and16barg(235psig)fortherefrig-
erantside.Theevaporatorisconstructedandtested
IAW applicable sections ofASME Pressure Vessel
Code,SectionVIII, Division (1). Waterside exempt
perparagraphU-1,©,(6).
• Removable heads allow access to the internally-
enhanced,seamless,coppertubes.Waterventand
drainconnectionsarealsoincluded.
• The evaporator is equipped with a thermostatically
controlledheaterforprotectionto-29°C(-20°F)am-
bient,andshelliscoveredwith19mm(3/4”),exible,
closed-cell insulation, thermal conductivity of 0.26k
maximum.38mm(1-1/2")foamavailableasanoption.
• Water nozzles have grooves for mechanical (ANSI/
AWWA C-606) couplings,andshallbe insulated by
Contractorafterpipeinstallation.(SeetheAccessories
andOptionssectionforangeoptions.
CONDENSER SECTION
• Condenser fans are dynamically and statically bal-
anced, direct-drive, corrosion resistant glass ber
reinforcedcompositebladesmoldedintoalownoise,
fullairfoilcrosssection,providingverticalairdischarge
fromextendedorices.Guardsofheavygauge,PVC
(polyvinylchloride)coated.
• Standard and reduced sound level models have
condensersttedwithsingle-speedfans.Lowsound
modelshavetwo-speedfanstted.
• Thefanmotorsarethehighefciency,directdrive,6
poleonstandardsoundmodelsand8poleonreduced
and low sound models, 3 phase, Class-“F”, current
overloadprotected,totallyenclosed(TEAO)typewith

MICROCOMPUTER CONTROL CENTER
• Themicrocomputercontrolcenterprovidesautomatic
controlofchilleroperationincludingcompressorstart/
stopandload/unload,anti-recycletimers,condenser
fans,evaporatorpump,evaporatorheater,unitalarm
contactsandrunsignalcontacts.
• Chillerautomaticallyresetstonormalchilleroperation
afterpowerfailure.
• Unit operating software is stored in non-volatile
memory.Fieldprogrammablesetpointsareretained
inlithiumbatterybackedregulatedtimeclock(RTC)
memoryforminimum5years.
• Alarmcontactsareprovidedtoremotealertcontacts
foranyunitorsystemsafetyfault.
• DisplayandKeypad:
♦ Thedisplaycontainsan80characterliquidcrystal
displaythatisbothviewableindirectsunlightand
hasLEDbacklightingfornighttimeviewing.One
