Connect Your Phone to a Computer via USB
1. Connect your phone to the PC with a USB cable.
2. Open the Notification panel and touch (Connected as...).
3. Choose one of the following options:
Charge only: Charge your phone via USB.
USB mass storage: Transfer files between your
computer and your Android device.
NOTE:
To transfer files, open the notification panel and touch
USB mass storage > TURN ON USB STORAGE.
NOTE:
To end the connection, unmount (“eject”) the flash drives
from your computer first. Then open the notification panel
on the phone and touch Connected as USB mass
storage > USB mass storage > TURN OFF USB
STORAGE.
Install driver: Install the driver needed for some USB
connection modes (such as MTP).
Connect to PC software: Install apps or manage data on
the phone via PC software.
Media device (MTP): Transfer media files on Windows
®
or Mac
®

Camera (PTP): Transfer photos using camera software.
