Risk of injury due to sharp edges on the compressor wheel
The compressor wheel has sharp edges which can cause injuries.
 Wear safety gloves.
Wear safety gloves against mechanical risks.
 Measure and note the axial clearance (

CAUTION
If the axial clearance A is out of tolerance, an ABB Turbocharging Ser-
vice Station must be contacted.
 Unscrew nuts (74027) and remove them together with washers
(74018).
 Fit the filter silencer and fasten it using the nuts (74027) and the
washers (74018) (see the section
Removing and installing the filter
silencer
).
 Connect all air lines in accordance with the enginebuilder’s instruc-
tions.
 Fit all the insulation which was previously removed.
