11 Display messages
Display Cause
•A test error has occurred.
•There is electromagnetic
interference.
•You forcibly removed the
test strip during testing.
•You bent the strip while
applying blood or
during measurement.
•The optical system cover
may not be closed properly.
The test strip is stuck in
the guide.
Repeat the test.
Move away from possible sources
of interference (see Chapter 5.3
“Testing conditions”).
Repeat the test with a new strip, this time
ejecting it by means of the ON/OFF button.
Repeat the test with a new strip.
Ensure that the optical system cover is firmly in
place.
Pull the strip out of the meter. Carefully open the
drum compartment and remove the drum without
turning it. Re-insert the drum. Close the drum
compartment. Keep the “use-by” period in mind
when reusing the drum.
