The compressors are equipped with a lifting eye or yoke. When running, the compressor must be installed as
level as possible; however, it can be operated temporarily in an inclined plane of maximum 25% (or 15
degrees). Keep the compressor in a frost-free and well-ventilated place.
3.3 Electrical connections
Warning
The electrical connection must be carried out by an electrician and corresponds to the local codes.
The indications on the motor data plate must correspond to the power supply voltage and
frequency. The installation must include an isolating switch in the power line near to the unit and
be protected against short-circuits by fuses for each phase refer section Overload relays and
fuses or Cable sizes.
The power supply and earthing lines must be of suitable size. refer section Overload relays and
fuses or Cable sizes.
For DOL starters, connect the power supply cables as shown in the electrical diagrams. For Y/D
starters, connect the power supply cables to terminal board (X1) as shown in the picture. Check
the setting of the overload relay. refer section Overload relays and fuses or Cable sizes.
