Safety information
Do not operate when driving.
Do not us the smartphone App on your
Advanced Car Eye when you are driving to
prevent distracting the driver.
Observe and comply with all the other safety
instructions for your safety. The legal stipulations
must be observed at all times. Please check that
the ACE can be used in your country.
It is categorically prohibited to publish videos of
public places recorded using the ACE on the
internet and in other sources.
Commissioning
Slide the memory card (µSD) into the device. It
must only be inserted and removed with the unit
switched off, otherwise the data will be damaged
and malfunctions may occur. Please use only
memory cards of the highest quality, approved
by BMW, and having at least 10,000 write cycles
(Type MLC - Multi Layer Card) and a write speed
“Class 10” to prevent errors.
The µSD card is guaranteed for 6 months.
Time setting
The ACE automatically sets the time and date via
GPS time (UTC).
Adaption to your time zone, and summer and
winter time, is carried out via comparison with the
time on your smartphone.
Your device is now ready for operation!
