Starting – Riding – Parking
Before you start
Switching on the ignition
– Move the kill switch to the run
position 1
• Ignition switch ON
In an emergency only:
• Move the kill switch to the 0
position.
– The electronic engine manage-
ment, fuel pump and starter
motor electrical circuits are de-
energised
L Note:
If you move the kill switch to the 0
position while the ignition is on
(switch in ON position), the BMW
Integral ABS remains operational
(
