the
thread
take-up
assembly

the
screw flat
and
tighten
the
set
screw so
that
there
is
no
end
play
or
no slack.

Insert
the
needle
bar
crank @ into
the
thread
take-up
assembly @
and
the
thread
take-up
crank
e.
Check
the
screw flat
and
adjust
that
there
is
no
looseness
between
them,
then
tighten
the
set
screws.
3)
Apply grease
to
the
groove
of
the
arm
to
which
the
slide block 0
is
attached.
Set
the
slide block 0
with
the
chamfered side
facing backwards and its
oil hole up, into
the
groove
of
the
arm.

Place
the
shaft
part
of
the
needle
bar
clamp
@)
into
the
thread
take-up
lever
f)
and
the
slide
block
0.

Pass
the
needle
bar @
through
the
machine
from its
top
and
insert it into
the
needle
bar
clamp@.
(At this
time,
put
the
oil
cap
on
top
of
the
needle
bar@.}

Turn
the
pulley
to
set
the
needle
bar

at
its
lowest position.
Align
the
second highest line
of
the
needle
bar
@
with
the
edge
of
needle
bar
bush

@.
Then
with
the
cut
section
facing front, secure
the
needle
bar
@ with
the
set
screw.
7)
Secure
needle
bar
thread
guide
(A}
(I!)
to
the
needle
bar@
with
the
set
screw.
8)
Put
the
oil caps
ID
and
@
in
the
holes
of
the
machine head.
