3) Replace the movable knife with a new one.
Check if the movable knife @ and the fixed
knife
® cut thread. If necessary, use a washer
provided
to obtain sharp cutting.
* The washer thickness are different according to
itstype. (T=0.4, T=0.5, T=0.6mm)
4) Attach the fixed knife ® 0.5 mm away from the
needle hole plate (f).
5) Place the thread trimmer connecting rod fl on
the pin part
of thread trimmer connecting rod
{L) @ and attach the needle plate®.
NOTE: To check if the thread trimmer connecting
rod
fl is properly fitted over the pin part of
thread trimmer connecting rod (L) @,
slightly move the needle plate back and
forth prior
to tightening the screws 0 and
0 and confirm that the movable knife @ is
pulled by the thread trimmer connecting
rod
fl.
6) Put the auxiliary sheet @) with aligning its rear
end with the edge of the needle sub plate@.
NOTE: The sheet should be replaced with a new
one every month.
