DRUM RESET INSTRUCTIONS
OPTIONAL
1. Press + or - to choose Machine Info. Press
OK.
2. Press + or - to choose Reset Parts Life.
Press OK.
3. Press + to choose Drum Unit. Press OK.
4. Press + or - to choose the drum color that
was replaced. Press OK twice.
For Multi-Function Copiers (MFC) and
Digital Copier Printers (DCP)
1. Power the printer on.
2. Press MENU, 6, 4
3. Press OK and then press + or - to choose
the color cartridge that is installed.
Press OK
4. Press 1 to reset the drum unit counter.
5. Press STOP / EXIT
For MFC 9120CN and 9125CN:
1. Power the printer on.
2. Press MENU, 5, 6
3. Press OK and then press + or - to choose
the color cartridge that is installed.
Press OK
4. Press 1 to reset the drum unit counter.
5. Press STOP / EXIT
For MFC 9010CN and DCP 9010CN:
1. Power the printer on.
2. Press MENU, 8, 4
3. Press OK and then press + or - to choose
the color cartridge that is installed.
Press OK
4. Press 1 to reset the drum unit counter.
5. Press STOP / EXIT
For 9320CW and 9325CW:
Drum Reset Instructions:
1. Power the printer on.
2. Press + or - to choose Machine Info.
Press OK.
3. Press + or - to choose Parts Life.
Press OK.
4. Press + to choose Drum Life.
Press OK.
5. Press + or - to choose the
drum color that was replaced.
Press OK twice.
Drum Reset Instruction (OPTION # 2):
Note:
Always reset the drum counter on a
Brother HL-3040/3075CN printer after
replacement. However, this reset may
be performed at any time. There are four
drum cartridges in a printer: black, cyan,
magenta and yellow. Each drum has its
own drum counter.
1. Power the printer on.
2. Press + or - to select MACHINE INFO ...
3. Press OK to proceed to the next menu.
4. Press + or - to choose RESET PARTS LIFE.
5. Press OK and then press + or - to choose
DRUM UNIT.
6. Press OK and then press + or - to choose the
color cartridge that is installed.
7. Press OK twice.
