Remember to set Filter Mode to Off when using the projector with the air filter removed. Doing so does
not reset the filter timer. The timer will continue counting the next time you fit the filter back on and set
Filter Mode to On.
Resetting the filter timer
Reset the filter timer after a new filter is installed.
1. Press MENU and then press / until the SYSTEM SETUP: Advanced menu is highlighted.
2. Press to highlight Filter Settings and press OK/IMAGE. The Filter Settings page is displayed.
3. Press to highlight Reset Filter Time and press OK/IMAGE. A warning message is displayed
asking if you want to reset the filter timer. Highlight Reset and press OK/IMAGE. The reset time
will be reset to '0'.
Storing the projector
If you need to store the projector for an extended time, please follow the instructions below:
• Make sure the temperature of the storage area is within the recommended range for the projector.
Please refer to "Specifications" on page 73 or consult your dealer about the range.
• Retract the adjuster feet.
• Remove the battery from the remote control.
• Pack the projector in its original packing or equivalent.
Transporting the projector
It is recommended that you ship the projector with its original packing or equivalent.
