• If you want to use a single telephone line for faxes and voice calls, you need to connect a telephone or
an answering device to the external device jack of this printer.

Setting Receive Mode
This section describes the procedure to select the receive mode.
1.
Make sure that printer is turned on.
2.
Select FAX on the HOME screen.
Using the Operation Panel
3. Select Function list.
The Function list screen is displayed.
4. Select Receive mode settings.
5.
Select a receive mode, and then select OK.
