Outdoor units — factory-installed options
Enviro-Shield™
condenser coil options —
Several
options are available to match coil protection to site condi-
tions for optimum durability. See the table below and refer
to the Application data for selection guidance. Consult
your Carrier representative for further information.
Outdoor units — accessories
Motormaster® III head pressure control (008 only)
operates in Cooling mode at outdoor temperatures below
55 F. The Motormaster III control varies the speed of the
outdoor-fan motor to maintain correct condensing temper-
ature down to –20 F.
Motormaster I head pressure control (012,016
only)
operates in Cooling mode at outdoor temperatures
below 45 F. The Motormaster control varies the speed of
the outdoor-fan motor to maintain correct condensing tem-
perature down to –20 F.
Carrier’s line of thermostats
provide both programma-
ble and non-programmable capability with the new
Debonair™
line of commercial programmable thermo-
stats, the
TEMP System
controls offer communication
capability with staged heating and cooling, the
Commer-
cial Electronic
thermostats provide 7-day programmable
capability for economical applications, while the
non-
programmable
thermostats offer a multitude of staged
heating and cooling subbase options.
Outdoor thermostat
provides control to activate electric
strip heaters.
Condenser coil grille
protects outdoor coil from large
objects and vandalism.
Condenser hail guard (008 only)
protects outdoor
units from hail and other flying debris.
Mounting legs (012,016 only)
hold unit approxi-
mately 18 in. off the ground to allow for condensate drain
connection.
Gage panel package (008 only)
provides one suction
pressure gage and one discharge gage mounted on a com-
mon panel. A shutoff valve is provided for each gage.
Indoor units — factory-installed options
Alternate fan motors and drives
are available to pro-
vide the widest possible range of performance.
Prepainted steel units
are available from the factory for
applications that require painted units. Units are painted
with American Sterling Gray color.
