With
the CZ-
1000,
you can
write (memorize)
the tone
data of altered
tones
or newly
created
tones
to
the
internal
memory
or
cartridge
memory,
save all
tone
data
stored in the
internal
memory
in the cartridge
memory
at once
and aiso
load
all tone
data in
the
cartridge
memory
to the inter-
nal memory in
a single
operation.

Memory
Protect
function
In order
to
prevent
inadvertent
erasure
of
tone data
stored in
the internal
memory
or
cartridge
memory,
the
CZ
-
1000
is
equipped with
a Memory Protect
function.
As
long
as the
Protect
switch
on the
back of the
unit is set
to ON, both
the internal
memory
and the
cartridge
memory
are
protected
and cannot be
erased.
*
It
is therefore
necessary
to set this
switch
to
OFF
when
you
want
to
perform
any of
the
func-
tions
Write, Save
or Load.
*
As
soon as Write,
Save
or Load
operation has
been
completed,
please
be sure
to
set the
Pro-
tect switch
to
ON
again in order
to protect
your valuable
tone
data.

The
tone data of altered
tones
or newly created
tones
can
be written
to
(memorized
in)
the inter-
nal
memory
or cartridge
memory
with this
function,
where
it is then
safely
stored.

position,
the follow-

will
appear and
you
will not be
able
to
save
your
data with
Write.)
