Normal Operations (AC Power Applied)
The following chart illustrates the appearance of the cable modem front panel LED
status indicators during normal operations when AC power is applied to the
gateway.

On

ETHERNET
On - When a device is connected to the Ethernet port and
no data is being sent to or from the cable modem
Blinks - When an Ethernet device is connected and data is
being transferred between the consumer premise
equipment (CPE) and the wireless home gateway
Off - When no device is connected to the Ethernet port
TEL 1
On - When line 1 is enabled (provisioned)
Off - When line 1 is not enabled (provisioned)
TEL 2
On - When line 2 is enabled (provisioned)
Off - When line 2 is not enabled (provisioned)
BATTERY
On - When the battery is charged
Blinks - When the battery charge is low
Off - When there is no battery in the unit
Note: In addition to the status shown in the previous table, some service providers
use color-coded LEDs to indicate detailed channel bonding and data link status. For
additional information about color-coded LEDs, check with your service provider.
