Loudness
The loudness effect emphasizes the bass and
treble to create a natural sound tone
When listening to music at a low volume, it is
recommended to use the loudness effect.
•Turning on and off the loudness
1) P r ess and hold the LOUD button @3] for 2
second or longer to turn on the loudness
effect When the loudness effect is turned on.
“LD" illuminates in the display.
2} Press and hold the LOUD button [?i for 2
second or longer to turn off the loudness
effect. "LD" disappears in the display.
Switching the display
Press and hold the BAND button 13 then press
the DISP button [9] to toggle the display. Each
time you press the button, the displav switches
in the following order:
Main display 4 Clock display Main display
* Once selected, the preferred display style (Clock,
Main) becomes the display default. When a function
adjustment like volume, bass, etc. is made; the
screen will momentarily toggle to that function’s dis¬
play; then revert back to the preferred display sever¬
al seconds after the adjustment.
Setting the clock
1) Press and hold in the BAND button 3 then
press the DISP button [9] to toggle the dis¬
play to the dock mode.
2) Press and hold in the BAND button 3 then
press and hold in the DISP button [9] for at
least 2 seconds.
3) Select left or right to adjust the time using the
a-selector.
•Adjusting minutes
Each time you select right using the a-
selector [3], the minutes increment up by one
digit (0 to 59).
•Adjusting hours
Each time you select left ^ using the a-
selector [3] ,the hours increment up by one
digit (1 to 12).
♦ The clock only displays time in a 12-hour format.
There is no way to toggle the clock to a 24-hour format.
4) Press the Band button 3 tb set the clock
into memory. This also resets the seconds
counter to zero.
Note:
* The dock can only be set by turning power onto the
unit and switching to the dock display mode. You can¬
not set the dock when it is displayed with oniy the
ignition on. if you drain or remove the car's battery,
the dock must be reset. While setting the dock , if
another button or operation is selected, the dock set
mode is canceled.
