discardwith householdwaste.Checkwith your localauthorities oror contact

RefertotheEngineOwner'sManualforenginemaintenanceinstructions.
Checkengineoil levelbeforeeachuseasinstructedin theEngineOwner'sManual
packedwith yourunit.Followtheinstructionscarefully.
ChangingEngineOil
Theengineoilshouldbechangedinthefirst5 hoursandthenevery50hoursor
onceaseason.Tochangetheengineoil, proceedasfollows:
1. WithengineOFFbutstill warm,disconnectsparkplugwireandkeepit away
fromsparkplug.
2. Removetheoilfill cap/dipstickfromtheoil fill tube.SeeFigure10.

3. Turnthesteeringwheelallthewaytotherightto betterexposethedrain
plug.
4. Cliptheoildrainsleeve(packedwiththismanual)ontotheoildrainport.
Routetheoppositeendofthesleeveintoanappropriateoilcollection
containerwitha capacitygreatenoughto collecttheusedoil.
5. Removetheoildrainplug,Theoilwill begintodrainout oftheengine.
6. Aftertheoilhasfinisheddraining,replacetheoil drainplugandtighten.Be
carefulnotto overtighten.
Removetheoildrainsleeveandretainfor lateruse.7.

Refilltheenginewith newmotoroilasinstructedintheEngineOperator's
Manualincludedwith thistractor.SeetheEngineOwner'sManualincluded
with thistractorfor properoilcapacity.
Gasolineand itsvaporsareextremelyflammable andexplosive.Fireor
explosioncancausesevereburnsor death.
Keepgasolineawayfromsparks,openflames,pilotlights,heat,andother
ignitionsources.
Checkfuellines,tank,cap,andfittingsfrequentlyforcracksorleaks.Replace
ifnecessary.
Beforereplacingthefuelfilter,drainthefueltankaspertheinstructions
below.
Donotdrainfuelwhentheengineishot.Allowtheengineadequatetime to
cool.Drainfuelintoanapprovedcontaineroutdoors,awayfromopenflame.
Drainanylargevolumeof fuelfromthetankbydisconnectingthefuelline
fromthein-linefuelfilter neartheengine.
RemovethefuellinefromtheIn-lineside(sidetowardsthefueltank)of the
fuelfilter.
Replacementpartsmustbethesameandinstalledin thesamepositionas
theoriginalparts.
Iffuelspills,waituntil it evaporatesbeforestartingengine.
Beforereplacingthefuelfilter,drainthefueltank.Otherwise,fuelcanleak
outandcauseafireorexplosion.
To Drain the fuel:
1. Locatethefuelfilter,whichisroutedontheleftsideoftheenginebetween
thefueltankandthecarburetor,andmaybeattachedto theenginewithatie
strap.Cutthetiestrap,ifpresent,thenpinchthein-lineclamponthefuelfilter
with apairofpliers,slidetheclampupthefuelline.Pullthefuellinefreefrom
thefilterandplacetheopenendofthelineintoanapprovedcontainerto drain
thefuel.
To change the fuel filter:
1. Useplierstosqueezethetabsontheotherclamp(theout-linesideofthe
fuelfilter),thenslidetheclampawayfromthefuelfilter.Twistandpullthe
fuellineoffofthe fuelfilter.SeeFigure11.
