Replacing the fan

Procedure
1 Place the fan on the thermal-cooling assembly.
2 Turn the thermal-cooling assembly over.
3 Replace the screws that secure the fan to the thermal-cooling assembly.
Post-requisites
1 Follow the procedure from step 2 to step 4 in “Replacing the thermal-
cooling assembly”.
2 Follow the procedure from step 3 to step 8 in “Replacing the system
board”.
3 Follow the procedure from step 4 to step 11 in “Replacing the palm rest”.
4 Replace the keyboard.
5 Replace the wireless card.
6 Replace the memory modules.
7 Follow the procedure from step 4 to step 6 in “Replacing the hard drive”.
8 Replace the base cover.
9 Replace the battery.
