Installing the solid-state drive/Intel Optane
Prerequisites
CAUTION: Solid-state drives are fragile. Exercise care when handling the solid-state drive.
If you are replacing a component, remove the existing component before performing the installation procedure.
About this task
The following images indicate the location of the solid-state drive/Intel Optane and provide a visual representation of the installation
procedure.
Steps
1. Align the notch on the solid-state drive/Intel Optane with the tab on the M.2 card slot.
2. Slide the solid-state drive/Intel Optane into the M.2 card slot on the system board.
3. Replace the screw (M2x3) that secures the solid-state drive/Intel Optane to the system board.

NOTE:
Enable the Intel Optane memory after you replace the Intel Optane memory module. For more information
