To play a disc in slow-motion, press the 6, 7
buttons at the still mode (Pause).
7 : slow forward playback
6 : slow reverse playback
Each time the 6 or 7 button is pressed, the
speed is changed. (Four step) (Three step on
VCDs)
To resume normal playback, press the PLAY button
(1).
• The sound is muted during slow-motion playback.
• This function is not available for CD and
MP3/WMA.
• Reverse slow play is not possible on VCDs.
To play a disc frame by frame, press the 3 button
during playback. The DVD will “freeze” on a single
video frame. Each time the 3 button is pressed,
the picture advances by one frame.
To resume normal playback, press the PLAY button
(1).
• This function is not available for CD and
MP3/WMA.
Select a track by pressing the numeric buttons.
Playback starts from the selected track.
example : To select track No.8
example : To select track No.18
Press “+10”, and press “8” within 2 seconds.

2 Use this function to display and change information on the disc (titles,
chapters, time, etc.).
NOTE:
• The on-screen display function does not work when PBC is turned on
with video CDs. Press the TOP MENU button to turn PBC off.
In the play mode, press the DISPLAY button.
• The On-Screen Display appears.
• The picture on the TV screen switches each
time the button is pressed.
• The items displayed differ from disc to disc.
Input using the number buttons, then press the ENTER button.
q Changing the title, track or chapter
• For DVDs
Use the and cursor buttons to select the track.Input
using the number buttons, then press the “ENTER” button.
• For video and music CDs
Use the and cursor buttons to select the track.The
selected item is displayed with a yellow frame.
Input using the number buttons. Playback starts from that
track.
w Changing the elapsed time
• For DVDs
Use the and cursor buttons to select the elapsed
time. The selected item is displayed with a yellow frame.
Example : For 1 Hour 32 minute 47 seconds / “13247”
: For 1 minute 26 seconds / “00126”
• For video and music CDs
Use the and cursor buttons to select the elapsed
time. The selected item is displayed with a yellow frame.
Example : For 1 minute 26 seconds / “0126”
