Unpacking
• Remove all parts, boxes and skin packs from
the box.

Required and Recommended Tools
Apart from the tools included with the machine, the
following tools are required:
- Flat blade screwdriver
- Crosshead screwdriver
- Ruler
- Set square
- Soft hammer (or regular hammer and block of
wood)
WARNING: Always use the correct type
and size of tool.
Mounting the Elevating Handle
(fi g. C1, C2)
Required hardware parts: 1 wing nut (20), 1 flat
washer (21) (fig. C1).
• Turn the motor frame assembly on its side as
shown (fig. C2).
• Place the elevating handle (11) onto the shaft
(51). Make sure that the flat side in the handle is
facing the flat side (52) on the shaft.
• Fix the handle using a washer (21) and nut (20).
Mounting the Motor Frame Assembly
to the table (fi g. D1–D4)
Required hardware parts: 2 lock knobs (22), 2
coach bolts (23), 2 flat washers (24), 3 Hex screws
(26), 3 toothed washers (27), 3 nuts (29), 8Belleville
washers (32), 8 cap nuts (33), 6 flat washers (36)
(fig. D1).
MOUNTING THE FRAME BRACKETS
• Put the saw table upside down on a worktable
as shown (fig. D2).
• Hold the motor frame assembly in position as
shown.
• While holding the motor frame in vertical
position with one hand, place the brackets (53)
over the studs (54).
• Mount the moveable guard (55) following the
instructions under Mounting the blade guard
assembly.
• Place a washer (32) and a nut (33) onto the end
of each of the studs.
• Tighten the nuts hand-tight.
MOUNTING THE BEVEL LOCK KNOBS
• While holding the motor frame assembly in
vertical position, place a washer (24) between
the brackets (53) and the edges on each end of
the motor frame (fig. D3).
• Align the washers with the square holes (56).
• Insert a coach bolt (23) into the holes.
• Place a bevel lock knob (22) onto the end of
each of the bolts.
• Tighten the knobs.
MOUNTING THE BEVEL STOPS
• Insert a screw (26) fitted with a washer (36) into
the slot on the left-hand side of the lock knob
(22) in the front bracket (53A) (fig. D4).
